Pilates

Te Mata Clinic Havelock North Thursday 1 - 2pm

Physiotherapy sometimes uses the Pilates method of strengthening and conditioning for patients after injury or surgery. Patients may be taught the exercises individually to start and then progress into a class as they improve. Once the patient has recovered from injury, they may continue in a class to maintain the gains they have made and to help prevent further injury.

Focus Health has pilates reformer equipment at each clinic which provides a safe, effective way to strengthen your body after injury. All physiotherapists at Focus Health have been trained to use this equipment with patients.
Instuctor Gerard Guilen.
