Marie Mayock is a highly qualified physiotherapist, with over 17 years of experience in diverse hospital and clinical settings. As a certified Bradcliff Practitioner, Marie specialises in respiratory physiotherapy and breathing retraining, integrating her expertise with mental health and wellness strategies.
Marie has a particular focus on the assessment and treatment of dizziness and vertigo, providing vestibular therapy for patients in both clinical and hospital environments. Further qualifications include a vestibular competency certificate, and instructor certifications in yoga, qi gong, and tai chi. Additionally, Marie is an advanced clinical hypnotherapist and a mindfulness practitioner, equipping her to offer a holistic approach to wellbeing.
Throughout her career with New Zealand district health boards and the NHS in the UK, Marie has recognised the profound interconnection between mind and body in the healing process. She provides her clients with practical techniques to regulate the nervous system and manage issues related to breathing, pain, stress, anxiety, and sleep disturbances.
Marie’s approach is centered on prevention, rehabilitation, and wellness, drawing on her extensive training to support clients in achieving optimal health in both mind and body.
Outside of her professional practice, Marie enjoys spending time outdoors, immersing herself in nature, and sharing meaningful moments with her family.
